One way to tell if we’ve been hijacked by another agenda is the fruit it produces in our lives.

The Reconciling Community

God has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Proclaiming and practicing reconciliation means extending grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Rather than doing this in our own strength, we learn to allow Christ to forgive through us.

A Conscious Dependence on the Holy Spirit

We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit. The New Testament tells us that the Holy Spirit works both within individuals and among them. The New Testament extends this command in the positive when it instructs us to be generous. We are to become ‘givers’ rather than ‘takers’.

Ten Words: VII. You Shall Not Commit Adultery

In this message we will explore the command not to commit adultery. We’ll go further with Jesus’ teaching concerning lust and how it leads to all kinds of societal problems, such as the treatment of women as products, endangers our children, and dehumanizes others. Ultimately we will summarize with the call to practice marriage as a spiritual discipline.
